From social mixers to holiday traditions, these events bring students, faculty and alumni together.
Every year, CSChE organizes a week packed with events celebrating the chemical engineering community, balancing social programming with academic and professional development.
Highlights: the Graduate–Undergraduate Student Mixer (learn about grad school and research) and the Troost Cup (a leadership event sponsored by the Troost family and Peel Plastics).
Every Valentine’s Day, it’s tradition for CSChE to make and sell candy grams to the chemical engineering community.
We run this initiative to bring the student body together with some light-hearted chemical engineering puns and a side of sweets.
Each year we invite ChemE alumni to speak with current undergraduates about their careers and how studying at U of T helped them.
Companies represented: Hatch, KPMG, AtkinsRéalis, Li-Cycle, and McKinsey & Company.
